Recycling Process - What happens next?

Your FREE collection request will then be processed by one of our experienced recycling co-ordinators who will contact you, usually within 24hours, to discuss your collection requirements. We will then arrange an appointment slot for a collection agent to remove the car for you. Your car will then be environmentaly processed to ensure the maximum number of components and materials can be reused or recycled. The brief description below will assist you in understanding the order of this recycling process.

When we collect your car we take care of all the necessary DVLA paperwork. We are registered waste carriers who will provide you with a completed waste transfer note documenting your vehicles disposal for your own peace of mind.

Your vehicle will then be transported safely to an Authorised Treatment Facility where:-

The de-pollution process will begin, including removal of all fluids and hazardous materials. Decommisioning of the airbags and the safe removal of any harmfull cfc gases. The wheels and tyres are removed at this stage. The tyres are then seperated from the wheels and assesed for recycling.

All materials and metal that can be recycled will then be re-used to help protect the environment.
